The Role
As a Survey Research Associate at Polco you will manage specific clients’ custom research needs. You will be responsible for managing survey projects including: client consultation, question development, survey design, programming and formatting, outreach planning and implementation (including respondent sampling), data analysis and visualization, and delivery of reports and presentations of results.
You’ll be the primary point of contact for your client and manage all internal processes for the survey and will work in tandem with a Customer Success Manager to ensure the clients optimizes their use of Polco. You will also work across teams to help refine our online reporting capabilities and to continue to evolve innovative sampling and weighting procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project design, execution, and analysis of client-specific projects - including question writing, sample selection, analytical plans, data weighting, data visualization and report writing.
- Proficient understanding and use of Microsoft Excel and Word, and SPSS.
- With training, you may be asked to present survey results to clients, on their request.
- While a Customer Success Manager will own the overall client relationship, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the client for the specific research to articulate the process and methodologies and guide the work.
- Become well-versed in Polco’s capabilities to encourage clients independent use of the product
- Manage client workload with minimal supervision/oversight required
- Provide mentorship and training to other team members
- Once familiar with our databases, you may be asked to manage company research projects
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a field that teaches statistics and survey methods
- 3+ years of quantitative survey research experience outside of academia
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial focus to thrive within our growth-oriented environment, with a drive to contribute to our growth
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at varying stages simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize accordingly while maintaining superior client service
- Willingness to mentor colleagues and delegate project tasks
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dispersed team environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented, committed to providing the highest quality data and analysis to clients
- Analytic mindset with a penchant for strong data visualization and delivering actionable insights to empower our clients
- Work with autonomy at the highest level of accuracy in all facets of the data analysis process.
- Excellent data processing and analysis skills using R or SPSS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly analytical with excellent organizational skills
- Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 - $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
