Survey Template Copyright Information

Polco reserves all rights to copyrighted, survey product templates developed by the National Research Center team including The National Community Survey™ (The NCS™), The National Employee Survey™ (The NES™), The National Business Survey™ (The NBS™), The National Police Services Survey™ (The NPSS™), the Community Assessment Survey for Older Adults™(CASOA™), and digital template survey modules in the Polco Library.

A paid subscription to Polco includes a one-time use licenses per any national benchmark survey, lasting 1 year each. You may renew your Polco subscription for future use of these survey templates. Once a license to use has expired, no part of these survey templates may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic or mechanical methods, without the prior written permission of Polco, except in cases permitted by Copyright Law Fair Use. Usage and reporting of your own individual survey data reports do not expire.

The terms of use are in place to protect Polco’s rights to its intellectual property. Our terms also protect Polco’s rights as owners of The NCS, The NES, The NBS, The NPSS, CASOA, and Polco Library questionnaires. These terms permit your jurisdiction to use all of its reports and data in perpetuity; clients must adhere to our request to direct other interested parties to Polco for permission to use our data. This is to avoid use of Polco data or materials for others’ financial gain.

Polco Original Media Copyright Information

Polco owns all copyrights to original content created by Polco staff.  Polco observes copyright laws for all distributed media and has obtained permission to use, purchased the licenses, attributed Creative Commons and/or selected Public Domain options for all media not created by Polco staff.  Email angelica@polco.us to request permission to publish Polco original articles and images, with attribution.
